The miniature or the teacup pug is an obscure strain of pugs. Many folks don’t believe that such a breed exists and the teacup pug is just a smaller version of an ordinary pug. The Facts
Essentially a teacup pug isn’t really a thoroughbred of pugs; instead they’re in reality half breeds. It’s common to see a pug crossed with a Chihuahua and the appearance can be somewhat superb. Basically you would mistake one of these half breeds a just a smaller version of a pug. The sole semi obvious difference being the length of the snout is a tad longer in a teacup pug then in a normal thoroughbred.
So is it safe to reproduce a pug with another dog like a Chihuahua? The answer’s a little yes and a little no. The majority of these teacup pugs need C sections. One thing that might be constructive for this type of pug is the proven fact that they have got a barely longer snout which should reduce the chance possible respiring complications later on down the track. This is a typical issue in thoroughbred pugs.
Although there may be some benefits of cross breeding pugs, there are usually more complications concerned and it’s not recommended that folks should do so. There’s a common term in dog society named ‘designer dogs’. These are dogs that are purposely cross bred to form new unique breeds that no-one else will have. This is one of the worst things that folk could do. It isn’t safe to experiment in cross breeding dogs unless naturally you’re a trained vet who can say what you do.

We all know that there are plenty of different types of cross breeds out there and you could be mistaken if you see a teacup pug because usually it’s likely merely an ordinary pug that is a little smaller in comparison to common. One of the things you might do is next time you come across a smaller in comparison to usual pug, ask the owner if it is in fact a teacup pug. If they assert yes then ask them what it is a cross of? Most people will just tell you that it is thoroughbred but as you now know, there isn’t any such thing as a thoroughbred teacup pug.
