When getting a new aquarium there are a number of things that you need to think about and location is one of them. If you do not do this not only will it look bad but you might actually find that the fish start to suffer and die because of it.
The Fish
The main concern that you should have with a new tropical fish tank or marine aquarium is the fish as they are the ones that could easily perish if you put the tank in a location that just wouldn’t work well for them.
something that is dangerous to the fish is direct sunlight, it is going to increase algae in the tank and will kill off the fish. a couple of hours in the sunlight and you should be fine but any more than this is going to cause some really bad problems so do not let this happen.
make sure that you also do not put the tank near a breeze, it will cause problems. the is going to be a big problem if you have a tropical tank because it will drop the temperature in the tank which will then result in death of the fish.
Guests/People
A lot of the reason for people getting a fish tank is so they can put it in a place that guests can see and comment on in positive ways. before you even think about the fish I would always find the perfect location for the tank so you can avoid problems. If you do it the wrong way round and have to move things it can turn into a bit of a nightmare. Making sure you have the right aquarium supplies in the tank is also a good idea too.
location is something that is very important when it comes to the aquarium but something that is even more important is the care of the fish.
